Led technical transformation of an ML SaaS platform from a bottlenecked Python codebase to a high-performance hybrid architecture capable of handling over 200 million records.
Challenge
The platform needed to scale its product catalog to 200M+ records while maintaining sub-second query performance. The existing Python codebase was becoming a critical bottleneck.
Approach
Introduced Rust for performance-critical data processing pipelines, implemented distributed task management with Celery, and optimized PostgreSQL with strategic indexing and query rewrites.
